Right now, the Sox have the better team, but between the two, I like the Cubbies better.

This is a no brainer here! The White Sox just do not get the due credit they deserve. I see WGN, the main Chicago station, televise three times more Cubs games that the White Sox even though the Sox won the World Series last year!! Apparently they feel there are more Cubs fans than White Sox fans and that's just for their marketing and advertising!!! Wake up WGN, the Cubs have not won anything in a million years!!! If it wasn't for an even more pathetic team, the Pirates (Pie Rats), they would be in last place-- the Cubs are almost there though! The Cubs fan base is dwindling and jumping ship to the White Sox (and other teams too) which invest in a winning attitude and are striving to succeed from the GM down. Manager Dusty Baker is biggest canker sore for the Cubs and needs to go immediately. You cannot blame it on your team's injuries or budget (have you heard of Money Ball?) for the whole season! According to published reports, he has lost control of this team a long time ago and the numbers show. Also, the rest of the staff should follow behind too. If the Cubs ever want to be a winning team again, they need to retool, gut everything and start from scratch. This is done by developing a strong Farm System and picking your free agents that have proven winning ways, not only in numbers, but as a team player (Jermaine Dye comes to mind). That is how the White Sox won it all last year and it got done through revamping and spending wisely. The White Sox are the World Champs, Cubs are presently a Triple AAA team at best. The only way they are going to keep fans in Wrigley Field is if they stick chewing gum on the seats (are you sure that isn't poison ivy out there?).

My 2 favorite teams: The Twins and whoever plays the White Sox. So I guess it's the Cubs.

Sox may be damn good right now and have like 7 all-stars to the cubs 1. But Chicago is still a cubbie town baby.
