My tv set has about 4 inches of lines starting at the very top. They are transparent, but seem to flicker a bit and distort the image sometimes. Is there a way to fix this easily?

Verify your coaxial cable connector or converter. Other appliances connected to the same circuit may introduce noise to the TV set. Also check if there is a V-Hold adjustment knob in the back of the TV. Maybe time also to change the TV.

There may be an adjustment knob on the tv set. Chances are though this is the beginning of the end for your television set. You might want to start watching the ads for a good deal.

There aren't that many good lines on television but if you want to get any lines at all out of your television you will have to turn the volume up.
