If you can afford it, go to a medical facility. Get the real deal about what to do for yourself. Each person's circumstance is different. There are things of which you may be allergic. I wouldn't presume to suggest something that may be harmful to you. After the doctor gives you the thumbs up, with no allergies to be concerned with as well, then you might address alternative medicine. Other than that, we are not medical people on this website. We may wish you the very best, but only a medical person can give you longstanding positive advice. Why do you feel that you need to have the cleansing of your small and large intestines? The doctor may very well give you some less harsh methods of "keeping it real" where your health concerns. Remember this, "If God be for us, who can be against us?" - Romans 8:31. Peace and God Bless.

If you are doing this for a medical procedure ask your doc. If not why not just be healthy. How about just chaging your diet. Do not do a drastic thing that might hurt you. How about plenty of veggies, fresh veggie juice (buy a juicer and read about juicing). No refine surgar or carbs) Just eat whole grains. Eat plenty of fruits. 2 liters of water a day. Stay away from red meats and fried food. Stick to lean meats and fish. Get healthy fats. Olive oil and avacados. Not trans fats or hydrogenated oils. Just get eat really healthy. You should not have a problem and you will not risk a med interaction or a complication with some enema or anything else. If you want something extreme ask your doctor first to find out if it is safe for you. Exercise and some clean living would be best.

I myself use an excellent colon cleanse. They are capsules called Intestinal Formula and it's just garlic and some other natural ingredients that do the job naturally--and without making you a slave to the toilet. Go to American Botanical Pharmacy website and you will find them. They work great for me.

How about trying some natural fiber and the 32 oz of fiber your supposed to be drinking a day and excersing daily! If you have a bowel movement a day like your supposed too you won't have to worry about this nonsense! Intestines were not ment to be "cleansed". They have one purpose.....discard excrement and thats it! Eat right, Drink lots of water and your problem is solved.

Try "fleet's phospho soda."

It is what the doctor tells you to take before a colonoscopy...be careful to drink PLENTY of fluids first and during the treatment for danger of dehydration...this is a REAL danger.
