A few years ago, when i was in 8th grade, some guys in my school started some kind of club, i forget the name, but it was for guys and girls who wanted to come out of the closet and admit their homosexuality. many did. a church in kansas got word of this and came all the way up to our school to protest it. our teachers told us that when we saw them, (they were in front of our school), we were not to say anything or make any gestures, because they wanted to sue us for just that. they said that was one of their only purposes was to go to rich communities, make a scene, then sue the people who flipped them off. i always wondered, could they sue us? i mean we were only 13 and 14 at the time...what could they do to us?

People can sue about anything, its a sick society that runs this way. Since when is flipping people off not covered by freedom of speech? As the world continues to turn restrictions will continue to grow until people vote for change.

Not meaning any offense, but did you go to this school to learn? Maybe the curriculum should have been more important than the sexual orientation! What you like/prefer is yours. Your rights belong to everybody. The school you attended should have taught you that! Everyone has problems. Not everyone can use the law to fix them!

first of all, people at age 13 and 14 shouldn't be coming out of the closet. And second of all they shouldn't be able to sue but idk, i think ive heard of the church before they are always causing problems.

No. You were right. They did not want to sue you.

They wanted to be on TV. They believe that anybody different from themselves is evil and wrong. They preach a nasty form of hatred. It's not funny that they coil their evil sermons around Jesus' love, and believe it's Christian.
