I want to tell my best friend how much I appreciate this/her friendship. And I kinda look up to her as a sister-though we are 1 yr. apart but we talk about almost everything. Would you be freaked out bye your best friend telling you how much you/I value this friendship with them??!! Would you take it the wrong way??!!

No. Tell her. It will only continue to strengthen and solidify your friendship.

No I wouldn't. You and your best friend will always have each and your lucky to have someone like her to love and accept. I also have a friend that I have been with for 8 years and she love me as much as I love her. I look up to her as a sister even though were not related. We only been apart for 3 years and i still never forgot about her. She always be in my heart and your friend will always be with you no matter what happened

by telling them you value their friendship, it will mean a lot to them, i don't think they will be freaked out (heck, I wish my friends will tell me they value my friendship)

Maybe you should let her know... if u see her as a big sister anyways, u should tell her everything :)

Being a guy, id take it badly if someone told me he/she looked up to me as i was their big sister tho. But thats just me.
