"Getting in trouble" sometimes is a subjective thing. That means YOU may think you are doing OK and someone else thinks you are doing things wrong.

The question is.....why do you think these things are OK? Do you have good reasons?

If "trouble" is truly a matter of opinion....then have a talk with your parent(s) and see if you can come to a better understanding. Once you talk it over.......then it's simple. Don't do what you KNOW you are not supposed to.

The other side of the coin....and a VERY important one, is .....just how GOOD are you NOW?????

List the things that you feel you are really good and helpful with. Can you be TWICE as good as you are now?? Will it be worth the work to be more helpful and polite and have manners and be on time, etc??

Usually "trouble" is a choice. "Trouble" is an attitude. Some people get by with it for years .......and then begin to create trouble for themselves that is hard to get out of.

If you like your family and friends.....give them a break every once in a while. Do some nice things to make up for the trouble you cause them and try to be better next time.

It gets a lot easier when you begin wanting someone to be nice to YOU and you see the benefits of being "good".

It's like riding a bike....you'll learn what works and what doesn't.

When you get tired of "crashing" you'll learn to "straighten up".

GOOD LUCK !!!!!

Some thing I have figured out during my 50+ years on earth, "DO THE RIGHT THING" when it comes to any decision, You'll not regret it and life will get better and better. Try it. Also know some parents are Never going to be pleased , do good and you can be proud of your self and have no regrets.

if mom says not to do something don't do it no matter how fun it may be or you can just not get caught doing it also you should think before having fun for instance if you feel like picking up the drill on the porch and putting holes it the barbecue grill it may not be a good idea

Try to treat your parents the way that you would like to be treated. Treat your parents with respect. It's all to easy to think that your parents don't have a clue. They were your age once and know what you are going through. They are just looking out for your best interests.
