Boston accent? What accent? I don't have an accent. Why is it that everywhere I go everyone else talks so funny? Why doesn't everybody pronounce 'car keys' and 'khakis' the same way?

It's not Dumb. It's cool. Southern accents are much worse. Love it, like I do. If someone makes fun of you, because of it, play along and either make fun of yourself or there accent.

My friend Val has a thick Boston accent. It doesn't bother me as much as valley girl speak.

I always liked a boston accent. My best friend in High School had one, and I thought it was cute.

no accent is dumb....sometimes you won't understand some of those accents, like it happens to me, i have british accent and some people don't understand what i say but you get use to it....

My husband is from Boston and he HATES it. He says that it makes people sound stupid. He works very hard not to sound like he's from Boston. He only sounds like it if he's had one too many! HOWEVER...I kinda like it. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks! It's all what YOU think!

No it's not, but it is dumb when people type like as in "is it like dumb"....just because you say it doesn't mean you have to type it.
