I found a sphinx moth today resting on a doorstep. Other times, I've seen moths under leaves in a bush. I've read that they also hide in cracks like on a house.

all i know is they flock around the outside of my door when the light is left on...and if i dint move quick enough into the house they chase me in... i shut off all the house and they flock around the TV...while I'm trying to watch my favorite shows
