5 days ago I raised the question that the referee in the Eng v Port game had been deliberately harsh against England so that Septic Bladder would give him the World CupFinal (see below) - Guess who will referee the World Cup Final yes the same referree - Coincidence?

Extract from question 5 days ago:

When Septic Bladder said the World Cup was a great football festival except for England who played defensively with only one up front. It was clear Bladder thought the World Cup would be better without England and he wanted them out.

The referee hoping to be in charge of the World Cup final clearly knew that his chances would increase if he pleased his master.

...lol..I like how you changed the name from Sepp Blatter to Septic Bladder...that was too funny...but anyway...one thing I don't like that I heard Sepp mentioned today was that he was considering having 2 referees in the future...no no no!!! I do not like the idea at all....we don't need 2 referees....one is enough...don't americanize.this beautiful game..keep it as it is..always and forever...

now for the match fixing question...

I think there have been some games that have been questionable in this World Cup...example: Italy vs. Australia.....that game as we know shouldn't have ended that way..Italy cheated...I know that Australia would have won if they would have gone to extra time...no matter how much italy defended with one man down..Australia was going to win...the Holland vs Portugal game...too many red cards and yellow cards were called out..and Portugal got their way...they wasted so much time falling every 2 seconds..and hitting the other players or initiating a fight....there were other games too..but I would have to have a long explanation...

I hope you like my answer...and if you don't ..I still do..

There are many instances that would raise serious doubts about match fixing in FIFA Cup Matches. European Countries were very particular to eliminate the Soputh American Countries. Watching the match between England & Nedherland, one can say both the teams aimed for a draw from the word go.

France getting the better of Spain is unbelievable.

Referees do play a part in match-fixing, it seems.

The way I saw it the referee was unbiased.

If, however, you consider the ref was biased, look more to the fact that he was Argentinian than whether he was trying to gain influence with Sepp!

It's true what you suggest though, referee's will, like the players, do whatever it takes to get to the world cup final.

Of course the entire tournament is fixed. With all the money flowing on these games, you think they will leave anything to chance?

Check out this story in a Chinese newspaper

Funny that no Western papers have the balls to touch this story. It's all about advertising revenue, ya know.

sometimes rather than the refree its the players reputations that seeks the cards and other decisions..
now if ronaldinho gets a rash tackle he many a time gets away with it why??
its his reputation of being a good cool guy..

but well this issue well cant say..but maybe the refree was biased a bit because everyone knows rooney is hot headed guy and hence the decision went thinking he did it on purpose..

but i dont think that refree should be refreeing the finals , i hope he doesnt do such sick mistake again , jus determining people action based on their past..

any game or sport that relies on a "Human Element" to judge the performance will be suspected of bias... see figure skating for example... any sport that uses the clock to judge the winner is the only way to go... see motor racing first to the checkered flag wins, downhill skiing the fastest wins, throwing stuff, (javelin, discus hammer, etc the furthest wins... now if you were the fastest downthe mountain with two planks strapped to your feet but did not look so good doing it it would be pointless to try if you were judged by humans true or false.

i think all the referees are somewhat biased no matter how much they deny it. of course deep within their hearts, they always favor a team over the other. so i guess u cant help things like that from happening bcoz after all, they're only humans. if they wanted a non-biased referee they would hav to rely on technology.

i think of ashish nehra is a foul participant. Dhoni made a great mistake to supply him the final over. the sport grew to become into many times on indian part. yet this nehra had to destroy our winning streak. I say we get rid of him and take back shreeshant.

Who cares, just watch it and pretend everything is ok. It's not like you're going to stop liking football even if a big 'conspiracy' was unearthed. You know I'm right.
