How do people, who don't have enough money, buy homes? I mean do they get government aid? How good of credit should we have to buy home? I have seen many people who are not that well off buy homes. Is there a trick to it, that I don't know? Ok, I know that sounds stupid. Or is there?

a house can be bought with no money down. some towns or countys have special programs for first time home buyers. but you have to have enough income to qualify for a loan

We bought our first home using a VA loan. No money, no down payment. It was a wonderful start 27 years ago.

financing, loans, monthly payments and such. Not everyone buys a home in one payment.
