Don't know - I checked "Surname Profiler" online - there are no records!
Checked again under new spelling - still no luck, HOWEVER:
The word can be broken up into Japanese:
KO (little/child) MANICHI (if by any chance) ... or ...
KO (little/child) MAN (...fully...) ICHI (one/number one)
Pulling at teeth here as neither version is very common in Japan today - however family names were only assigned to the "elite" until about 100 years ago. It is therefore possible that at some point in history - a Japanese family moved to Europe (perhaps, the family was mixed race?) and they "created" a family name. If this were the case the second version is most likely accurate, roughly translating into "first child, fully grown". As a created name - it would make sense to use C to initialize the name, therefore making it more culturally acceptable.
Of course this is pure speculation - but the name itself translates perfectly into Japanese.
Good luck!
PS. this is the site I used - it didn't really help with the search for this name - but it's interesting anyway.

We hear of one Russian Gymnast Chick by name 'Nadia Comanichi'. That seems to be the nearest thing to the question.
This word, 'Cominichi' is differently spelt as, 'Kominichi', 'kiminichi' & 'komonich'.
May be, some tribal name Russian or Romanian.
