I was sleeping in one room and my little niece was having a sleepover in another room. In the middle of the night, I heard her wailing in fright. I went to her room to check her out in the dim moonlight. She was freaking out when I bend down to look at her. She was shivering and kept pointing to the ceiling.

So I turned my head around and looked up. I saw a hanging head with long hair flowing down and the chills ran up my spine. Then I realized, it was only my sister who also came out to check on my niece and she was just right behind me, also bending down to have a look.

This was definitely not paranormal but it had the same effect.
:)

On the same night, my best friend and I both dreamed that we were hiding in a closet because we were being chased around a hospital type place with a lot of sick people by a very tall man (7 or so feet) wearing black military gear and a gas mask who was carrying a very large weapon.

Also, my grandmother was crippled at a very young age, so her walk had a very distinct sound when she would walk down the hallway of her house. Years after she died, I babysat for the children that moved into the house. They were both sound asleep in bed, and I was sleeping on the sofa. I was awakened by the sound of her walking down the hallway. Not so much scary as weird. She wasn't a very scary woman!

My best friend swears she lives in a haunted house. She said her cat refuses to go upstairs and will sit at the bottom of the steps and growl and hiss. She says her doorbell rings all the time and nobody is there at the door. She also says that things get moved around in the kitchen. (That's why I've never been to her house) lol

When I was in elementary school, I would have sensations of deja vu, like I had a flash of the event shortly before it would happen. From what I understand, this isn't uncommon and can be the product of certain functions of the brain, but at that age, it caused me a lot of concern.

Yes we had a ghost in our condo, I was watching tv late at night alone when I heard footsteps. They came down the hallway and into the living room and then stopped. I could'nt see anyone there and started to think it was just my imagination when I looked down at my cat who was sitting on my lap. She had a very scared look in her eyes and was also looking towards the hallway. She had heard the ghost too, and maybe she had even seen it!!!

quite honestly, i was horribly skeptic of anything involving spirts or the paranormal....ha...then i used a ouija board. the skeptics will tell you that it's your subconcience controlling the movement of your arm, but once you experience a dead boy telling you something that you couldnt possibly know, then finding out that he was completely true, you tend to belive. CAREFULL tho, many spirits are malevolent and love lies and deciet.

ever heard of that sleep paralysis condition where you feel and hear people breathing down your neck by your bedside, but you can't move even your fingers or toes? all you can do is shift your eyes from left to right and lay there while you listen to the beat of your own heart, believe me, it feels like you're going to die.
