YES!

the answer given by "RandomChickSam" is moronic I have one that I carry everywhere, but I dont get on int to chit chat about trivial dumb stuff, like I see people doing at the stores, just talking about stupid stuff, and it should be illegal to talk on the phone while driving.

I have one and use it responsibly so no I am not jealous just more responsible!

The answer from "Kaia" is priceless! I would have talk him what he could have done with his cell phone!

That is a classic example of people that just think they are too important!

I think yes they are. Kids today are brought up with them, so they will say no. But those of us, who weren't, think they are too much. We got along just fine with out having a phone attached to our ears. Some accidents are caused by people driving and talking. With out the phones we managed our lives. Yes they come in handy when you need them if you are being stalked or something, or an accident does occur, but I swear, I was watching something on tv the other night, and while the guy was talking, a phone was ringing. And you could tell it was a cell phone.

But this is my opinion from a person who didn't have a cell phone growing up, and lived through it, and still doesn't have one.

Of course they are! It's almost impossible now to drive down the street without seeing someone chatting it away in their car, while walking the dog, standing around, waiting for the bus, etc. People have become so attached that they now despair when they forgot their cell at home. In high school, cell phones are absolutely a pain. People text all the time, talk while in the bathroom, on their way to class, etc. There's no way to talk to anyone anymore. It seems everyone has an ipod earphone on one ear and a cell phone glued to the other. Physical interaction is almost obsolete by now.

Yes! I am so tired of everyone chatting on a cell...driving, grocery store, movie theater, walking down the street, at the beach....it's not like these people are all neurosurgeons and there's an emergency call.

My favorite is the man who got angry at me because I was whistling while I shopped, and it was making it hard for him to talk on his cell...and I would care WHY?

OMG! People don't even pay attention or live in the moment because they're so wrapped up with their stupid cell phone. Cell phone ettiquette should be taught in schools. If you are in public get off your d#mn phone! Especially if someone is trying to serve you, wait on you, ring up your merchandise, cut your hair, fix your car, etc, etc, etc!!!!!!!!!! Be present in the moment! Hang up the phone!!
Whew! I get a little carried away about how people are so rude. Thanks for letting me vent!
