Shaving gel for me, makes my legs a lot smoother and I don't get any nicks or not nearly as much as with shaving cream.

shaving cream is high on calories. shaving gel is high on sugar. Shaving gell tasts better. I like it a lot!!!

Depend on which area actually but generally gel normally gives better lubrication thus less irritation.
