How do you deal?

Not me, but one of my professors is completely blind, and yet he finished his Ph.D. at one of the top schools in the country and is recognized as a top scholar in his field. He does memorize a lot, and is quite brilliant, but he is proof positive that visual impairments are not an insurmountable barrier. He's also an exceptional teacher!

I finished college but have a severe visual imparement and it's driving me nuts.

yes, not me but ive seen several ppl walking around campus with watch dogs, with a cool tag that says "dont pet me im working" :P
