Okay, this is going to sound really weird but this is one of the BEST-KEPT BEAUTY SECRETS for those with oily skin: applying Milk of Magnesia to your skin completely sucks up oil. Weird, yes...but it's been a godsent for me!!

I totally understand your problem. I have chronically oily skin, friends have actually told me to wipe my face because it gets so oily :(. Milk of Magnesia has helped me tremendously! My face stays matte through the entire day! You just apply a thin layer of the liquid to your face and rub it in quickly before it dries. It will soak up all the oiliness or excess sweat that may make your face a shiny mess!

You can buy some Milk of Magnesia at any drugstore. Try it out!

First eat a healthy diet and drink plenty of water and not a lot of greasy foods. Also use a good bar soap like Cetaphil. When I had oily skin I used rubbing alcohol on the really oily area's because it dries out the skin and usually people have that lying around the house. Be careful around your eye's etc... though. But what I really recommend that is cheap and good to use is Witch Hazel and it won't harm your skin like rubbing alcohol can do if you use it to much. You can also mix up some oatmeal for a face mask that will also help and if you get that in your mouth it's tasty and safe. Use an oil free moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated. Remember always use oil free products on your skin.
