I think guys can wear earings. my husband has his ears pierced and i think he looks great. My cousins are around your sons ages and they have earrings. I say let them if they decide later they don't want them they can always take them out

If your asking if its okay in society today, the answer is yes.

If your worried about the boys losing the diamonds, then do the wise thing and take them to your Jewelers and explain the situation and ask if he can recommend a temporary fix (i.e., a faux diamond that they can wear until they prove their ability not to lose them, and as everyone that wears earrings knows, they are easy to lose). Once they prove their ability to hang onto them, buy them the pair they want. If you prefer to buy them real diamonds at first, then do the next best thing and insure them.

Frankly, I would tell them to earn the money to buy these studs...with them wanting it, they should have to earn it....teach them that want does not necessarily mean that you get.........
