when you e-mail someone is the "conversation" real to you?

or is it more like it never really happened... for me I e-mail this guy I'm having an affari with... and I tell him my thoughts and felings and sometimes I forget I ever told him something because it was not a face to face intaction....

Yes that's all true because when i talk to people online it feels like its not real.
