What temporary male contraceptives are commercially available apart from condoms? My girlfriend tells me that I am too big and hurt her when I have one on, and my natural size without condom is perfect for her.

I want the solution to be on my end (I do not want her to take pills since they may harm her). I am willing to take drugs or take other such risks, so long as it is (guaranteed to be) temporary (will not hamper having children in the future in any way whatsoever).

Umm... well... I read something about 4 other male contraceptive techniques. Heat(?), RISUG (?), male implant + injection and male pill... but they didn't say where they are available, whether they are commercially available at all or how effective they are.

Also, my relationship is monogamous, with both of us having not that much experience. STD isn't an issue, although the lubrication thing may well be an issue?

Oh... and the condoms I was using was Ansell Nuda variety? Not sure if anyone is familiar with them, I don't know much about condoms since I only started using them ever since we had a pregnancy scare (late period).

Condoms. Spermicide (not 100% accurate)

Nothing else is temporary. It's called a vasectomy. Permanent (though reverseable if need be.)

Either tell your wife to take the pill, get an IUD (or is it UID?) or just use condoms and pray they work.

OR you can simply have a baby.

By the way, the vagina streches over time. Put it in. Leave it there. Let her get used to it.

Or just don't have sex with your girlfriend.

There was a male "pill" developed but men would not take it so it was never marketed. Condoms are the only "Male contraceptive" that is really available. There are millions of types of condoms...try using more lubricant or ask here if she is willing to use the female condom, or even the Vaginal Contraceptive Film. Those are two options other than the pill.

I don't know of anything. Sort of ridiculous isn't it? I'm glad to hear a man willing to take responsibility like this, but I think your girlfriend is being sort of weird. The condom really does not add that much to a penis. It may be that she is irritated by the rubber in which case you should try using some lube.

I would not recommend sex without a condom, and currently I do not believe that there is male contraceptive other than condoms.

Secondly, condoms being of an elastic nature actually will compress the penis, making it's girth slightly less than in a natural state. it won't add to the size.

I recommend you try a ribbed variety so she has more sensation from it, that will probably please her while keeping you both safe.

the ONLY male contraceptive is condom, nothing else temporary.

other is vasectomy but it is permanent.

and for female, it is a lot of kind for contraceptive.

or you both can use calender counting. but you must remember that by using the calender counting, you can't have sex a many times as you like.

advice: you both haven't got married, try condom ok. to prevent from STD.

You could try using contraceptive film (PEOPLE ALWAYS FORGET ABOUT THAT ONE). She inserts it before intercourse and it dissolves and kills the sperm. I believe it is 99.9% effective. You can use the film and the pull out method just to be on the safe side. But then again.... If you don't want babies, don't have sex. There is always that option.

There are spermicidial gels that you can get. There aren't really any drugs you can take that are FDA approved yet. There are some that are in the process of being approved, but none approved yet. Good Luck!!

I don't know of any either. I heard they were making a male version of the pill, but that was years ago, and I haven't heard of it again since.

none that I know of. You might want to try using lubrication...it's probably more of a dryness issue than a size issue

unfortunatly there is no current option for this on your part, she could use a diaphram, a sponge, iud, or something like that, those are temporary and dont require drugs for her
