The sky is what you see apart from the earth and water. In its own way, you see only a surface, and presuming that the sky goes on forever, it's pretty much described as an infinite prism that has potentially rugged edges if viewing from land, or mostly smooth edges when viewed at sea.

The world is considered to be round so it is fluid or flexible enough to fit space. Water takes the shape of its container; so like water, the sky is the shape you perceive it to be.I suspect that is why the rainbow appears as an arc or semicircle.

If by "sky" you mean the sky around Earth, it's a spherical shell.

If by "sky" you mean all of space, it's geometrically flat.
