The champion of the US Open will receive $1.1 million dollars, the runner-up will take home $550,000, both semifinalists will get $270,000, and the four quarterfinalists will get $135,000 etc. The prize money is the same for both the men and womens tournament. Bonus money is determined by the top three finishers in points throughout the summer hard court season.
