Using Adobe reader a free download from adobe.com,
1. Open the .pdf file.
2. Under the Tools/Basic menu loook for the "Snapshot" tool.
3. After the cursor has turned to a crosshairs, left click and select the area you wish to turn into a .jpeg.
A message will come up saying "The selected area has been copied to the Clipboard"
4. Now open your paint application and in the edit menu click "Paste",
You should now have the picture in your paint application and can save it in whatever format you wish, (.jpeg, .gif, .bmp)

i dont know if this will work but you can simply try changing the file extention from .PDF to .JPG you could also open the pdf file copy the picture you want and then open a picture editing program (such as paint or fireworks) and then paste it in there and save it as a jpg file
