lol I'm a BIG fan of Ronaldinho and Barca but Ronaldinho is not legend yet (but he will be)!!!!! In last 10 years Ronaldo(Brasil) is the best forward and Zidane is the best midfielder, It's kind a lucky for Zizou that he is the first name of this WC because he didn't played very good for last 2 seasons in Real Madrid, but now he became the LEGEND OF FOOTBALL(for the people that watch football for a long time he was all ready)!!!!!!! It's a shame that Figo didn't play so good, because he deserves a place in top10 players in the world!!!!!!!! Like Mexico '86 was WC of Maradona,Sweden '58 of Pele, this is WC of ZIDANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WC2010 WILL BE WC OF RONALDINHO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not Ronaldinho, he just hasnt proved consistent enough at the world level, especially in this tournament. If Zidane plays a great match on Sunday and leads them to victory, I dont know if he would be considered the third best player of all-time, but in my mind he would be the best player since Maradona...although players before Maradona, such as Muller, Beckenbauer, Yashin, Jairzinho, and a few others may have been better than Zidane.

Both are great, but I'd have to give the edge to Zidane right now seeing as he's retiring. In a couple of years Ronaldinho will be known as a legend and let's not forget about Ronaldo, who's earned the title also

This is the order: Pele', Rivera, Cruyff, Platini, Maradona (barely making this list) then Zidane and Ronaldinho (doubts on Ronaldinho)

well since your first two legends are only from South America, Zidane would not qualify - if you expand to the whole world there are some others on their level - e.g. Beckenbauer and Mueller

Actually, the correct answer is RONALDO. Just because Brazil is out of this World Cup does not mean people should forget Ronaldo's role in football's history!
