Yes we should be able to report abuse. Many times there are bad people on the internet such as stalkers or people with criminal record who use the internet to purposely hurt people. Also we have to protect the young ones. Lot of times you see profanity and disgusted messages. As adult, maybe you can handle the pressure but for many young ones and some adults, they can't. Therefore, yahoo has the responsibility to do the best they can to solve this. Yes we as users should follow the rule on here and report any abuse or derogatory messages.
Thank you.

I believe you are on to something here.
And, defying the spirit of democracy, i don't think that just *anybody* should get a vote. I think that people should prove themselves *worthy* of such a right and responsibility.....so it doesn't fall into the wrong hands.
How about if we could nominate a panel of our peers to decide such matters? The people *we* know would be fair and considerate.....and not just let any yahoo at Yahoo be able to report people for their own petty reasons?
I could pick a panel of good people right now, and i'm sure you could too.
But something tells me we'll be waiting a long time for something like that to happen.....

there should certainly be better rules for making an abuse report, as it is any idiot can report for any reason, and we loose a lot of great people. I think Yahoo needs to grow up a bit.

You shouldn't be able to vote people off. If I say something that some people disagree with (like Cindy Sheehan should just shut-up), then people will want to vote me off, and that's not right.
