Depends on what you consider to be societal pressure. Japan has some of the highest sucide rates among teens because of the pressures in school. Some Islamic societies have a large amout of pressure. Seems the more conservative a place is, the worse the pressure is.

Japan comes to mind. You have to look perfect but you can't look superior than others around you. It's a society that places far higher value in social unity than personal rights.
I know - I lived there for many years.
