I just bought Shawn Michael's book, Heart Break & Triumph: The Shawn Michaels Story...is this book any good? I haven't recieved it yet, and I hope it is good...but what is your opinion? FYI: Shawn Michaels is in the WWE...

Seriously, I hav that book and am reading it myself at the moment
I swear it has touched my heart in so many ways and the opening page brought me to tears. Rebecca his wife well I only hope she realises how friggin lucky she is. He is the kind of man I hav wished for all my life and all I eva got were women bashers.

I like him cause he is the Showstopper,the Main Event the Heart Break Kid. He is a living Legend and future Hall of Famer He has been in the first televised Ladder match,Hell in a Cell e.t.c He has great wrestling skills and good mic skills and the fact that back in 1998 in the casket match with Taker at the Royal Rumble had a terrible back injury but he was still able to make it at Wrestlemania against Austin is respectful. He could easily quit wrestling after..Although with hard work e.t.c came back as a full-time wrestler in 2002..

All of these books are the same... they follow a formula which leads them to praise Vince McMahon for saving their lives. After all, he publishes the books.
Michaels' book has more religion in it, as he follows that route. Probably less lurid than some others.
Read some of the reader reviews on bn.com and amazon.com.

It's OK. Better than a lot of other books by wrestlers I have read, but still it falls short. If You want a good wrestling book, pick up both of Bobby "the Brain" Heenan's books.

If you are an HBK fan, it's a must read. You learn some interesting information and behind the scenes stuff that you may not already know.

its good. He called Shane Douglas a crappy wrestler, which he is. Hes a born again christian, which is the reason he wont do some of the DX stuff.

i read it and couldn't put it down. It is really interesting. Great info about the infamous screw job, very good info on his wife and how much he loves her. and it talks alot about his friendship with HHH.
