I have a bad hormonal imbalance because my body won't absorb the Potassium it needs from everyday foods. But everything I've tried is not working so far. What else can I try? (Please keep in mind: I will only use natural/raw products, no drugs or junk so I don't worsen my condition, and would only like suggestions from those who have been there and beaten it or know exactly how another has.) Thanks.

Eating a variety of foods that contain potassium is the best way to get an adequate amount. Healthy individuals who eat a balanced diet rarely need supplements. Foods with high sources of potassium include bananas, avocados, celery, parsnips and turnips, although many other fruits, vegetables, and meats contain potassium.

You can also superfoods like Chlorella and Spirulina
which not only increase your ability to process potassium...but deliver potassium in a form most can digest readily.

I stopped taking vitamins years ago...and as my body slowlylearns to reregulate itself properly...the day will come when I will no longer need them either.
Hope this helps.

A really great book to check out if Prescription for Nutritional Healing by James Balch, MD. This is practically by bible for anything and everything. You can purchase it at GNC, Vitamin World, or any bookstore such as Barnes & Noble.

It states herbs that contain potassium include catnip, hops, horsetail, nettle, plantain, red clover, sage, and skullcap.

I would suggest you purchase this book then you can reference the herbs and find out which one would suit you the best.

Good Luck!

Were you aware that potatos have a little more than 10 times that of bananas? Have to eat the peeling however, along with the rest of it. Many other sources which exceed bananas.
