No, but I think the 2 guys that started Google gave Yahoo a loan to set up the site , they also gave them some advice on how to run the company.

Nope, Google is relatively new but superior in the way it uses its search engine. yahoo has been around for a few years longer but is slowly loosing ground. This is why they launch huge campaign ads for new sites like yahoo answers.
