I would say no to that and its very possible things are fine, here is an excerpt from another with the same concerns from a website I'll list so you can read from others with similar experiences , hope its of some comfort to you. Here are the comments from the mother to be>I had an ultrasound today. I should be 5 1/2 weeks pregnant. The doctor only saw the sac, no embryo yet. She says it may just be too early to see anything. My progesterone level measured on the low/normal side. I've been on Prometrium and the level has come up. Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this? Could I just not be as far along as I originally thought? 3448164 > In addition I would like to add my own story that even after repeated regular ultrasounds we were told the baby was a girl and the wife gave birth to a boy. Have a look at others in your shoes and I hope it is of some comfort, try not to worry it is early yet and dates can vary by a week in either direction also. And we found out that obviously mistakes in readings are not uncommon.

Yolk sacks are visible until 10 weeks of pregnancy. These are signs that the babies are growing well.
Just so you know, you should read up on Vanishing Twin syndrome. Losing a twin is a possibility until at least the 12th week of pregnancy. With the use of ultrasounds earlier in pregnancies these modern days, twins & multiples are found more often.
I'm not saying that you'll lose one, just want you to be prepared. I"m currently 17 weeks with twins, and a month ago I had an ultrasound, only one baby was found. I read up on it, found it to be a natural thing. When a twin vanishes, it actually increases the chance of the other baby to have no problems.
But as it turned out, the last ultrasound 2 weeks ago showed two babies again. Apparently one is a little shy.
Your doctor will probably want to monitor you more closely. You should be seen every 2 weeks. Not only that, but look forward to keeping your feet up a month or two earlier, to prevent premature birth.
Get this book - I've bought several, and found it to be the best.
It's called "Twins! Pregnancy, birth, and the first year of life"
by Connie Agnew, Alan Klein, & Jill Allison Ganon. It can be found at most maternity stores for $18 - but I bought it on ebay, brand new, for a total of $5 including shipping.

once you've miscarried and he's having you come back back in 2 weeks, you could have already obviously miscarried the toddler at domicile by using that factor and wont favor a D&C. that is actual extra acceptable because there are extra probabilities of damage to you and destiny being pregnant with a D& C than in simple terms obviously at domicile. i become pregnant with 10 week old twins countless years in the past and had a fever of one hundred and 5, I miscarried the twins and my body took care of issues from there. It took some days, yet our bodies understand what to do. in case you have not released your miscarriage interior the subsequent 2 weeks at domicile then you definitely can competently assume that you're nonetheless pregnant and the wellbeing care professional become incorrect. even if do not complication about it to a lot immediately, if toddler remains alive you'll purely reason undue pressure on toddler when you're aggravating the full time. in simple terms be calm and take issues straight forward for a little while.

Of course, you're not going to miscarry. Spontaneous abortions, the medical term for miscarriages, hardly ever happen in situations like yours. If the yolks looked healthy, then the shells will be, also.
In a while, you'll be the proud mother of two wonderful chickens. If they're identical twins, both will be either rooster babies or hen chicks; but if their are not identical, one could be a rooster and the other could be a hen chick.
However, I haven't seen the ultrasound images, so I'd advise you to see a veterinarian and have her or him explain what's happening to you.

Why didn't you ask your doctor about it when you got the ultra sound? No, it does not mean you will miscarry - just that at 7 weeks the babies are very small and hard to see. If you are really concerned, ask the doctor.

I had six miscarriages in a five year period between my 2 kid's , and they always happened between 7 and 12 weeks and your doctor would have been able to tell and would have told you... so you always have to be careful in the beginning of your preg., but don't worry , I am sure your fine if you haven't had any thing wrong by now ... They are too small to see yet .. My daughter is preg. right now too and we just got her first ultra sound and you can really see the baby ( so cute already ) but she is almost 4 months... so just give it another month.....

wow! How did they do an ultrasound at 7 weeks. I didn't have mine done till I was 14 weeks along. I would say that at only 7 weeks, the babies were the size they are suposed to be. Don't worry about it.
