Why strike first and take the blame for starting nuclear war. They will probably blow themselves up anyway with those failed missile tests. Plus, we have the technology to evade any nuclear attack, now. From the second one of their missiles is launched, our satellites pick up on it. Also, we now have medium range missile interceptors that were just tested recently on the west coast. It was a success. If in fact North Korea were to launch one of their missiles toward the West Coast, we could blow it up with an interceptor in the middle of the Pacific, and launch a full out retaliatory attack against North Korea.
I think though, that North Korea is only a puppet of the great puppet master, China. You might as well call North Korea, Little China. It is the same type of government, and you can bet that they have constant dealings with the Chinese. I dint care what the Chinese government says, China likes, approves of, and thoroughly enjoys the actions of the North Koreans. China, among others, is who we should be after.

I don't believe that 23 million Koreans should pay for a crazy tyrant.
North Korea's estimated population of 23,000,000 is one of the most ethnically and linguistically homogeneous in the world, with small numbers of Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese and Eastern European minorities.
During the 1990s, famine killed between 600,000 and 3.5 million people in North Korea. By 1999, foreign aid reduced the number famine deaths, but North Korea's continuing nuclear program led to a decline in international food and development aid. In the spring of 2005, the World Food Program reported that famine conditions were in imminent danger of returning to North Korea, and the government was reported to have mobilized millions of city-dwellers to help rice farmers .Contrastingly, the Korean government stated that the 2005 cereal harvest reached 4.6 million tonnes (a 10% increase in comparison with 2004), the best harvest for the past ten years.

As appealing as the concept may sound, it won't happen. We have good relations with SK, and any nukage of NK, directly impacts the South. SO, if anything DOES happen, it will likely be airstrikes, and ground troops. Always an ugly prospect.

You can't seriously consider murdering innocent people in their homes just because their leader is a nut who likes to throw rockets in the sea...

It would be wrong to punish all people just because
we don't like their leader. Now, all who agree outside
the US, hang your head in shame for doing that when
you profess hatred for "Americans" and our country.
