Start with ACT for contact/sales tracking... you will definitely also need Microsoft Office... a good billing system such as Quickbooks might also be helpful if this is for a home business...
If you get really successful, you might also consider investing in some autodialer software and sales lead lists... it has been so long since I have been in telesales, though, that I do not know any brand recommendations other than maybe DAVOX, which is commonly (or at least used to be) used in collections departments...
