The male hormone Testosterone makes a man a man, but women have testosterone also, and that is why, some women, when going though menopause may take on some male characteristics, such as facial hair. Estrogens are the primary female sex hormone, Progesterone is another of the female hormones. Its these hormones that make us HE or SHE.
