I have had terrible anxiety and I have been on Wellbutrin. I was feeling well for awhile, now I am feeling panicky and very tense again and the doctor prescribed more Wellbutrin. Has anyone taken this drug for anxiety? When I read about it, it seems to be more for depression.

I took Wellbutrin for many years for depression, never anxiety. It worked very well for me with no side-effects.

I am so happy, it was only a 35 minute drive ( 70 minutes total) but absolutely no sign of anxiety or panic i shopped till I dropped - brilliant! I will now go for the next stage DUAL CARRIAGE way, probably at the weekend, with my husband accompanying me first then the solo drive, if successful the final stage of driving on motorway

Well anxiety is a form of depression. I take 20mg of Celexa for Anxiety. I have been on I've for almost 7 months now. I do have "bad" days but who doesn't. Make sure you are doing everything in your power to make yourself better. Plenty of exercise, eat right, no alcohol, and good sleeping habits. I have had to change my whole life to cure this disease! I am so much better for it. Ask your Doc about Celexa or Lexipro. I did a lot of research into Meds before I took anything. These have the fewest side effects and are known as "clean" SSRI's. Good luck to you. You can cure this!

Take Xanax at night. You'll get better sleep and be more relaxed and able to handle the day better. Careful though, it is addictive.

I have used it for sleep for years and have found that I just generally feel better now.

It is not for anxiety. I took it for many years and it really doesn't work that well for depression either. Make positive life changes and the depression eases. Otherwise things don't get better.
