I LOVE CHICAGO... Despite all the trafic jams.. and those people who drives like they own the roads.. Wont even move their slow butt outta the fastest lane... HARD to find a SPACE to park on the street.. and the snow in winter..
In return, You could find anything to eat at LATE LATE NIGHT.. People always on the street (talking about driving) It's not DEAD at nite like most cities. Clubs close around 4am.. Lots places open 24hrs. Whatever you need, u'll get it at the time u want. :)

I LOVE IT!! Sadly I moved 3 years ago to Vegas, but when I get the chance I will be moving back. There is so much culture and SO MANY things to do. Many, many museums, Navy Pier, the downtown area, sports, food, the architecture, the dance companies, the theater, the arts, etc. and of course the night life is always great There are some many things to do you don't really realize it until you move to a place like Vegas which has no culture (unless you love to gamble) Just think, you will be moving to a big and wonderful city that's only getting bigger and much much better!! Hope you take advantage of all of the great things Chi Town has to offer. Good luck in the Windy City!

Live here. Love it. so much to do, so much to see. Lots of job opportunities. Why do you think everyone is moving here? I remember years back you NEVER saw a University of Michigan or University of Wisconsin or Indiana U flag flying out of an apartment window, or see ads in the paper with bars proclaiming "See all University of Iowa games here!!!" Why do you think they're doing that? Because most of the grads of those schools are heading here for work and to live. It got so bad the states of Iowa and Michigan started running ads in newspapers and on TV HERE telling everyone to "come home" because the job opportunities are great there. But who wants to move back to Des Moins when you can go clubbing and run into rock stars or movie stars here?
It has beaches, world class museums, TWO baseball teams, bars that stay open until 5 a.m. on Saturdays, live music almost every night of the week. Crime? Sure we've got that. But so does every other big city. And most of the crime is situation in two basic areas of the city. Sorry to say but the cops protect the "yuppie areas". So if you live in one of those "special" area, and most Chicagoans know what I mean, you're OK.
it's a great city. case closed.

Roughly three million people. We have some of the worlds great museums - the Art Institute, the Field Museum, the Adler Planetarium, the Shedd Aquarium, the Museum of Science and Industry, to name a few. The Chicago Symphony Orchestra is recognized internationally as one of the finest orchestras in the world. We have two world class zoos. We are represented in every major league sport. We have one major league baseball team (the WORLD CHAMPION WHITE SOX) and five minor league teams (six if you count the cubs). Our weather is very bad at times, but there is no place that has perfect weather.
