case in point:
Some little half wit said that her dog hated her and wanted advise on what to do about it. I suggested that she drown the little mut in a kiddie pool filled with cream style corn. The biotch reported me!! I got scolded by the answers police, and I was pissed!

If it was supposed to be a less serious sight it would be titled Yahoo Funny answers! I take it seriously because there are people with real problems out there, if anyone can help them by using this site then that is awesome.

I like to have fun, but there is a difference between fun and stupid. I like to answer questions to help people, I find it offensive when people ask about eating poop, I find it dangerous when people ask about whitening their teeth with battery acid (kid's read this), it is not right when people try to trigger racial problems or religious problems or when people say Bush is stupid, yet they never say how we can effectively deal with terrorism or war.
Maybe we should have a stupid side, and obscene side and a side for those of us who want to answer reasonable questions asked by reasonable people.
If people classified their questions correctly, if I could say I don't want to see these categories would be good too.
I also despise people who ask a question about being 14 and abused, then they are 19 and have AIDS then they are15 change sex and are pregnant and their boyfriend beats them up and then they are honor student who just got busted because their stepfather put marijuana in their backpack and are taking care of their dying grandparents.
For every question people put a lot of thought into their answers and this person is laughing at them for really believe their crap.

Yeah, but I'd rather see people take this site seriously then be stupid on it, because then it ends up being a waste of space.

No. This site is to get answers when you need to get help. When someone asks a serious question and get replies that are silly and full of non-sense and disrespect it makes you wonder is this site really worth your time?

it's fun. It get's people talking, it get's nagging questions answered. It's a fun way to get to know new people, and although, in essence useless, it's kinda fun to see how high you can get your points.
Take a deep breath in, and breathe out. It's just a lark, so enjoy the silly-ness of life and YAhoo! answers.
