I think the system should stay as it is. Not all fouls draw yellow cards or red - only the most offensive which is the way it should be. What I think is more important is consistency in the officiating among all the referees. You've got some that will let pratically anything go which gives those teams distinct advantages in the following matches while others throw up cards at the drop of a hat.

IMO, a player should be officially warned before receiving a yellow card and then if the person commits the same foul; that person should be given a yellow card. If the person commits the same foul again should be sent off. So, one warning, followed by two yellow cards, but a crucial foul should be a straight send off.

There is only one answer to it...TWO..we can't decide how many man. those are the rules. Sometimes the players just won't care and do what they want to. The first yellow card is bad enough, but some players dun care at all. And go for another round

2 yellow cards, and get the hell out of the game. Blatter got a lot of ridiculous ideas that makes you think if he thinks that FIFA is an organism of football (soccer) or baseball, football, basketball or what.............3 cards, aww man!

2. the first is not just a warning...its a big "hey, you did something wrong, fix it" the second is well, i told you, and you blew it. but the thing is, this is only good for when the referees actually know what theyre doing and are making good decisions.
