I've been taking birth control pills for a couple months. Today is Thursday, I started taking my white sugar pills Sunday and i've had my period since Tuesday. Can I start taking my blue birth control pills tonight to stop my period? Is it safe?

Nope, you should make a complete menstrual cycle, do not play. Give yourself time to clean out thoroughly, you do not want that old tissue/blood to stay in there as it may cause an infection. Follow the dates on the package.

no! don't do it, you will screw up your cycle just when it's regulating itself out. If you want to skip a period, skip the sugar pills and start a new pack right away, but it's only safe to do this 3 times, after the 3rd month, take the sugar pills and have a period. It's much easier and not as expensive as "Seasonale" That way you will only have 4 periods a year! :)

keep taking the pills by the day ua re supposed to. U are supposed to finish the sugar pills and then restart the reg pills as scheduled only. Make sure to read the insert that they give u with each pack.

Yes. You can start again if you need to stop your period. You can actually take two months of active pills in a row if you need to. Be warned that you may have spot bleeding in the next pack because you changed your cycle, but it isn't harmful.

Let's see...you are going to trust an answer on this from a complete stranger possibly in some other country?

Do they have telephones where you are? Why don't you call your doctor, or better yet, read the insert in your pill box?

Take your pills as directed. Don't go messing up your hormones. If you have a question about the directions, call your doctor or pharmacist.

Thats 4 days early, thats quite a bit. One or maybe two days early is not a big deal, but 4 days sounds like it is asking for trouble
