I have a timeshare for one week a year in Cabo San Lucas, MX. I've never used it and tired of paying the maintenance fee. The timeshare is paid in full.

Good Luck. You could just stop paying the maintenance fee. Then the HOA will get it back.

basically, you could might want to eat something else of inspite of you owe on it - you won't be able to move possession of the time percentage till the non-public loan/loan is paid off. you won't be able to promote the timeshare for below you owe without both coming up with the version or doing a short sale (which the lender will probably not enable once you've been making on time funds and that still will wreck your credit).

Timeshares are a scam.

I will happily accept it, I have 2 young kids that love to travel, but my time share is very limited.
Maybe my wife won't like it, but I need it.
