Welcome to womanhood! I am glad you are looking for information. Be ready all the time. While your period will eventually settle in to a regular pattern (every 23 days for some, every 27 for others, every 30 for others yet) it may take awhile. Most girls are irregular for awhile initially.

Take cay_damay's advice and always carry some emergency "equipment". I got my first period when I was ten and I didn't get the next one till about 3 months later, then about 3 more after that, then 2....etc, etc. I took YEARS before I became regular (every ~28 days). But like most people have already said, everyone is different. It'll be hell trying to figure it out exactly (at first) but it's just part of becoming a woman.

Unfortunately, when you begin to menstruate, it's not on a set schedule. Eventually you will settle into a 25 to 30 day cycle, most people have about a 28 day cycle, but when you are eleven there is no way to really predict. In a few years it will settle down, in the meantime, keep a pad or tampon with you at all times just in case!

it ranges from every 26-32 days so from the last time you had it. I would carry a pad around with you in like 10 days because first period are irregular and keep that pad with you after your period starts to come regularly start carrying a pad around every 20 days and once it is really normal (like never surprising) every 25 days. good luck & much love

In about 25-28 Days, usually. Some girls have it sooner and some have it later. The actual cycle will take about 2-7 days. Good Luck and don't rush it.

It's different for everyone. In general it occurs every 28 days, give or take a few days. It lasts anywhere from 2-7 days.

your period usually comes once a month, but if it's irregular at first that's okay because you just started :)
