Kind of scary. Is it something new or just a little puffiness? Maybe you're eating too much salt; try drinking a lot of water and stay away from stuff that makes you retain water. Also, I notice I have it every now and then and I clean my face as usual, then I follow up with a really cold washcloth. I usually try to lie down for a minute or two(face elevated) and keep the coolness on my face. Then I use my non-alcohol astringent (you can use witch hazel...I think it's as good or better).

Splash cold water on your face. I hope someone didn't hit you.
If it's from an allergy, I think you can take a decongestant.
When I cry, my face gets puffy and cold water helps with that.

What's causing the swelling? Ice works well, but you sound like you want something more permament.
