I heard once in a seminar that McDonalds doesn't sell onion rings in the US because doing so would create a shortage in the world supply of onions that would cause the price of onions to skyrocket.

Has anyone else heard this or have any references to this statement?

no I have not heard this. I wish they would get onion rings, though. I doubt the supply of onions would be short. They are the easiest veggie to grow!

They don't sell onion rings because they haven't figured out how to make them out of some kind of artificial sh*t yet..
