Hendrix and Paige are most evenly match guitarist in the world. But if you had to choose which capitalized guitar more it has to be Hendrix. Paige was amazing but his playing never really explored the outer reaches of the world like Hendrix did. Page riffs were lovely and powerful but Hendrix was beyond what anybody expected. He mix hundreds of different sounds to give you this feel u never heard. He was more inventive and had a better stage presents then page. They are both geniuses but Hendrix tends to shine the most. And hes ranked the greatest guitarist of all time i dont know whats super dork is talking about Hendrix was before page in the rankings has always been. And the fact that hendrix creatively only lasted 4 years saids it all who can create new sounds in just for years. Hendrix is great their both great

Well, at this moment, I'd have to go with Page, because Jimi is, in fact, dead. If Hendrix were alive today and had continued to progressively get better, I'd probably prefer his style.
But, really, the question is as futile as asking which color is better: blue or purple?

Hendrix laid the rock foundation for decades to come, and Page was one of many of Jimi's students. Hendrix is and will always legendary.

Hendrix is legendary but Paige had more time to perfect his style and methods of playing..cant really call it ya know?Both rocked in their own ways!

what music do you guys listen too geeze paige by far hendrix couldnt touch paige... paige is ranked like th third greatest quitar player of all time hendrix was cool and was good messing around but paige was just great!

Page, by a mile. Hendrix was great at screwing around and making sounds nobody had ever heard before, but Page was great at playing the guitar. And Page didn't OD himself so he's still making music.
