I seem to notice that i settle for b.s. and i wanted to know how can i find a good guy hopefully in michigan. I never had a man spoil me i usually end up taking the drifters who really put me in a finacial bind.

People take it because they don't know how to be strong and stand up for theirselves. When you realize you don't NEED a man/woman to make you happy. When you're happy with yourself and know what you want in life then you'll find someone likeminded. Until then, losers always find the weak ones. Good luck:)

Because they want to belong and be loved and not alone...and to that end they will endure harsh treatment. up to a point.
But know one should ever stay in an abusive relationship. the person doing the abusing needs to seek help and the one being abused need to realize how much they are worth and accept only the best for themselves and find someone that will love them and encourage them to grow and support them in all that they want to do in their life.
