Instead of giving it as penalty kick , I think, wouldn't be better if FIFA replace it with FREE kick as we know it or a new kick?

I don't have a problem with keeping it as a penalty kick but I think that if the player that was fouled is capable of continuing play, he should be the one to have to make the shot. Example: Its not as if Henry Thierry wasn't capable of making a shot.

No. The point is not to have a penalty in the penalty area.

no need to. plus it'll take away the box and the free kick can be as close as 3 feet from the goal. its pointless.

Why? There's no need at all to change it. Its been fine for over 150 years, why change it now when there nothing wrong with it???
