I like watching MLB.

There are always 100 different things going on.

You just have to know what to look for and watch.

It is the most compeling game there is...every pitch usually requires an adjustment by the team on the field...the batter's tendencies are known by the team in the field, they position themselves accordingly. Maybe the most important factor is the lack of a clock. Football and basketball get exciting only during the last few minutes if the outcome is not in doubt. That is not true in baseball. It is the best - no question.

I personally love watching baseball. perhaps its because i had a good experience playing the sport as i grew up, or because everyone else in my family loved the sport. I think the more you know (positive or negative) about something, in this case baseball, the more you are apt to form an opinion on it... you can like or dislike it, love, hate it. makes sense doesnt it? think about the opera.. so many movies depict the opera as such a boring unlively place to be. hence I, and so many others out there whose only intereaction with the opera has been through a movie or a tv show etc..., have a negative opinion about the opera. i think it would be boring to go to one... shows how much i know about it the opera....

I watch it because it is high drama. There is a little battle going on each time someone comes to the plate, which is over 50 times in every game. Every play, every situation may have happened hundreds of times before, but every time it is different. You have time to think, to appreciate, to savor every moment, to remember plays and players and games long past. True, it might get boring when your team is down by 10 runs and it's only the fourth inning, which I've seen happen, but that doesn't happen very often. (And even then you're really only bored if you're watching on television.)

I don't think its boring. I love watching professional baseball, especially the dodgers. If you like, and understand the game then watching it shouldn't be boring.

you are right, there are many people who think baseball is boring, but if someone actually understands baseball and all of its nuances, it is far from boring!

the battles between the pitcher and batter, each trying to out guess and out think the other as to what pitch is coming next is just one phase of intense strategy involved in the game that casual observers will overlook.

one of my favorite things about baseball that makes it stand out alone from nearly every other sport is that there is no clock......time doesnt run out on you....as long as you can avoid making a 3rd out, you have a chance to score and to come back in a game.

as yogi berra once said, "it aint over til its over!"

Well I use to think it was boring, Then I started going to minor league games and now I'm hooked. It's Fun to see them hit home runs and close scores. It's Just a good time and it gets better when you watch them in person.

Professional baseball is very exciting. You have to get into it. I think most diehard baseball fans were born into baseball families.

I think it is boring. In most cases less than 1/3 of the team is actually on offense. And many times not many more on defense.
