i know it seems like your parents just want to run your life and not respect you as an adult. This must make you feel upset and a bit angry. I have been there, so i can relate; but as I reached the age of maturity i realized our parents are on the outside looking in and also have experienced what we have not so they could be on to something. Talk to your mom and dad and explain to them that they may very well have a good point, but you want to now make your own choices but you do respect and value their advice but let what they taught you now be put to work.

if you still are at home in way you still have to do what your parents ask of you. I can tell your may of surpised and maily if you lived at him all in all don't you feel it's imprtant that their wishes be adressed. They love you very much in this day and age having a job is vital. I can't blame your parents I sure they went into thinking he has not a job and your partents you wnat you to have a life that is better then their. This guy really has nothing but to keep you don't when you move out home it's all up to do. Don't rush into anything if this guy didn't wotk out there are billions of other guys out ther !

Well if ur in college ur grown enough to make ur own mistakes. Tell ur parents that. If u want to be with this guy do it. Your parents will come around sooner or later. Just give them time. Even help him find a job!

If he is not out actively looking for work, then i hope you find a really high paying job so you can support both of you. That will be your life if he's not interested in working for a living.

You are old enough to make your own mind up but it sounds like the guy is a loser. What do you find so great about him. Ask yourself if you where in a long term relationship with him would you be happy with him? Good luck

OK, listen to your heart....You're a grown up now so think for yourself and don't let them run him off if you care for him.

If you love him it shouldn't matter if he has a job or not. They should like him cause he makes you happy. If they don't that's their problem.

As long as you live with your parents, the answer is to follow their advice. They just want to protect you.

If you are still at home, parents paying for your education, then maybe you should keep it quiet for now. By the way, do you plan on supporting HIM????!!
