Create unnecessary drama because they are bored with their lives. That includes complaining or whining.
Money issues is a huge one. Spending a guys hard earn cash or "shaking him down for money". Having an unplanned pregnancy or worse planning a secret pregnancy. Not being able to admit your own mistakes and apologizing. That's a biggy because women are presume to be correct most of the times when they are also just human. Using sex as a reward system or manipulation.
Using the past or arguments.. meaning they might have forgiven but not going to let you forget it. (so they haven't forgiven you anyway). Ultimatums.. do this or else. Making men try to read a woman's mind when she doesn't have the sense to say what she wants. Or she tells the guys what she wants but makes him feel bad if he doesn't succeed. Another, comparing your current guy with another past lover. (ladies do it too). Changing your mind on a whim and not making apologizes for driving your man crazy.
Shopping sprees, to make yourself feel good while putting him in the poor house. Demanding your man make more money and not helping with expenses. And finally being a feminist..for the sake of hating a man to feel power.. who might have better character than you.

I can answer that in one word, MONEY!! (LOL), sorry just kidding. Women want to be loved, they also love the following qualities in a man: loyalty, trust, honesty, sincerity, passion and compassion. Oh, yes, and they want to feel that you are really listening to them when they seem to be going on and on and on .... re: a particular subject. (Also) some women would like a little gift here and there, flowers, perhaps, or a piece of jewelry on their birthday/holiday. That comes later in the relationship though. I think the qualities I mentioned beforehand supersedes the gifts of gold and roses! Whew! I know this is a lot to consume in one bite! You'll get the idea ... I am a woman. Best of luck to you and yours!

How to mess up a relationship:
1.) Do not let him go out with his friends.
2.) Talk about marriage on the first date or tell him you want to remain a virgi... until marriage when he is only 20 years old and still in school.
3.) Begin smoking
4.) Talk incessantly about one really boring subject that few people care about. Make it the focus of your whole life.
5.) Talk about ex boyfriends and your encounters.
How to keep it cool:
1.) Do the opposite of the above.
2.) Make sure he knows he's king of your world.
3.) Leave the cell phone home on dates.
4.) Do the fun stuff he wants to do: go karts, pinball, laser tag, etc.
5.) Stay cool with his family, make him welcome in yours.
6.) Expect that he does stuff for you in return. Be confident.
Good luck!

a. Expect too much. This is not a fairy tale you read in grade school.
b. We're not that deep. When you ask us a question like "What are you thinking about?", and we say "nothing", it's probably true. If we are thinking about something it probably has to do with sports or sex or having sex while watching sports.
c. Don't try to read so much into what we say. See #b.

Invade my privacy (out of mistrust)
Attempt to manipulate me with sex (I get too much for that to work. I will dump you before I behave like a lap dog).
demand too much attention (my world revolves around me, not you)
white lies (this should be first I hate liars, for whatever reason women see to think it OK to tell small lies or lie by ommission)
Not keeping other guys in check (if you don't check that ***** I will, and believe me you don't want me to have to do it).
