I had a dream while in college that I met God. I never saw him, I just heard his voice behind me and I just knew it was Him. We were in space looking down at the world. I asked him, "Is there really going to be an end to all of this?"

He replied "Yes"

I asked Him "How?"

He zoomed me back to the world, and there was a great war happening all over the world. The world was practically on fire. Everything was pretty much black ashes. The sky was grey. There were dead bodies everywhere. I then felt a breeze flow by and everything turned to dust and the bodies on the ground dissolved into the wind.

We zoomed back into space. I asked Him, "Is that it? Will we get another chance?"

He replied, "Yes"

We zoomed back to the earth, and now the earth was green, the sky blue, trees everywhere, animals everywhere. Then I felt the breeze again, and I saw the dust begin to collect and form bodies. The bodies came to life and the they stood up and walked away.

We zoomed back into space. Before I could ask another question, by ex-roomate woke me up to see if I was ready for dinner at the cafeteria...

I'd ask him "what's the need for all this 'faith' business in religion"? Why can't he show himself. It's 2006 and we're supposed to trust the bible (or equivalent, for other religions). Get real. Stories change, the bible isn't the word of God. It's been translated and modified over the ages. God needs to make a heavenly version of an on-line bible (always up-to-date) with each person's score (100=definitely going to heaven, 0=definitely going to hell, etc). That way, we'd all have something to shoot for. I'm not knocking God, I just don't get the secrecy/faith aspect. It all seems so pointless. And don't tell me Jesus was the proof. That was 2000 years ago. We need something contemporary.

-If the Earth is only 6 thousand years old, why does all of science point to billions of years of factual scientific evidence? Does that make you a liar? Would it be ok with you if the facts were more accurate than a three hundred year old Scottish friar who simply counted all the days in the old testament? Do like Scottish fisherman/duck hunters more than scientists? No, it's not a trick question...

if he could just let me do it all again. i know there are many things in life that we hate or are hurt by. but i got to admit i enjoy living and never knowing what really lurks around the corner. I'm sure I'm not going to hell but i think heaven would be boring if everything was perfect. if god is real and is the all mighty, then sending back my soul to relive my life (not knowing what i know now) should be something he can do. for all i know maybe I've already asked for that. it might explain deja vu.

Why God created human-being, since He knows we all are sinners. Sounds like He wants to show off himself how he sacrifice to save our souls.
I think I am out of wisdom to understand God, I really hope God will tell me in my dream!

I would ask God why there must be hate in the world. I can handle death, disease, but the barrier to peace is hate, I believe. I feel people could work together w/o hate. We , I believe, would be oblivious to other peoples' wealth & possessions if there were no hate.

I would say
Did you ever regret giving us Free Will ?
To see so much destruction on this earth with the environment and with all the wars over greed and power for control.
