When will there be the last so called "FINAL Fantasy"!?

I mean this is dragging on like Freddy Kruger and Jason. Each one is called Final, but there have been like eight of them now or something.

The reason it is called Final Fantasy is because it was a last ditch effort to save a floundering company back when the first one came out. Each game is a different story, in a different world. The last one will probably come when Square finally does go under, but as long as this series, Kingdom Hearts, and Dragon Warrior (Quest), continue to be successful, I don't see that happening anytime soon.
