I am currently suffering from a gassy stomach, excessive belching, lightheadedness, nasal congestion, and head pressure in the front and back of the head. I sometimes get chest pain as well. A year ago I suffered a panic attack and 2 months ago I stopped my xanax and zoloft to handle it naturally. I am currently on prilosec for my stomach. Has anyone else had similar problems, and if so how can I solve them?

You obviously have something wrong with you and need to see a doctor...only a doctor can help you.

Best way to stop stress is to find out what is causing it.

If it is a person, hate to say it but remove the person from your life. My mom got on my nerves so bad for so long I was on luvox and prozac to deal with it and I finally just moved away from her. No more med's and no more stress.

Stress can come from a job as well. Specially if you are always being torn in many directions or feel like you can never get caught up. The best thing to do here is either take all vacation days at once to get a break or start hunting for a new job. A job is just that, a job, its not worth your health over.

It could be from food too. Maybe as you have aged certain foods you just love are actually starting to effect you. I have always had a steel stomach but I even noticed lately that a bbq pizza with bacon and onion makes my stomach flip now.

It could be your home. If by chance you are in an older home there might be high levels of lead paint in the building. Over time lead can play tricks on the body and brain. It can also give the symptoms of illness or being worn out.

If you have had panic attacks in the past and have been on medicines for them and since you got off the med's I take it you dont' like them. You still must cure the root problem for the panic attacks. If you have to go see a shrink to talk to someone about it to get the root cause.

It is your life, your body, you have to live in it daily. Find the problems that effect you and change them, move them or move yourself.

Once you solve the core issue(s) you will fee 100,000% better in a short time.

Other tricks to help with stress can be:

-get a fish tank and watch it for 1 hour daily
-get a pet to keep you company and to relieve the daily stress
-take up yoga to get in contact with your mind and body
-start to exercise more, this is a great way to relieve stress
-find some hobbies you use to love to do and restart them
-have sex more often

I do not believe in "take a pill and all is cured". I always fine the reason for the problem and cure that. In my life besides the short time I was on luvox/prozac I have taken nothing but advil and even those are rare. I feel so much better and I never get sick cause my body is able to fight colds off.

Society teaches us to just pop a pill and all will be fine....you see where it has gotten society today.

You might have a sinus infection. The gassy stomach could be from eating foods that don't agree with you, or it could be related to being sick if you have an infection. Stress could could the gassy stomach too - but it does sound like you might have a sinus infection or something similar.

Sinus infections are treatable with antibiotics but I hate antibiotics so last time I had one I just sat it out. There are potential dangers of it spreading to your brain (slim chance) so you should get it checked out if it gets worse, or if you dont mind antibiotics see a doc now.

o i remember hearing something like that on the news with the pressure on your forhead and a gassy stomach. I dont remember what it was though. I think it was like some new disease that just came out. I am not sure though.

Sounds like hypochondria to me. you will eventually get rid of it, try to not think about it, spend time with your friends, find love, stay active, do sports. It sounds silly, but it`s in your head and you need something to keep your mind busy with.
